Broiled Lobster Tails with Lemon Butter Sauce

Prepare Lobster Tails from the frozen state. Do not thaw them out. Thawed Lobster Tails held longer than 2 hours before cooking may become mushy due to enzyme action.

Broiled Lobster Tails


  • 2 Quarts Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Salt
  • 1 Lobster Tail
  • ⅓ Cup Butter, Melted Lemon Butter Sauce


  1. Heat water and salt to boiling in saucepan.
  2. Add lobster tails, cover tightly and heat to boiling.
  3. Reduce heat simmer about 15 minutes. Drain.
  4. Place lobster tail side up on broiler rack.
  5. Brush with lemon butter sauce.

Lemon Butter Sauce


  • ½ Cup Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Snipped Parsley
  • ¼ Teaspoon Tabasco


  1. Combine ingredients
  2. Brush onto lobster tails
